Happy anniversary to us!

Hard to believe we've been in Carnegie for a new year now! It was a great move for us, and we thank you for following us over the past few years. Two Abandoned Pittsburgh images have been chosen for book covers by local authors. "Portrait of the Author as a Bingo Worker" by Lori Jakiela, published last fall, features "Bingo" (German United Independent Evangelical Congregation) on the cover, and "Two Sides, Three Rivers" by Sharon Dilworth, publishing March 2018, features "Fence" (Carrie Furnace). In other exciting news, London publisher Fonthill Media will publish special editions of the Abandoned Pittsburgh books later this year for worldwide distribution. The first volume, "Abandoned Pittsburgh: Steel and Shadows" will be out March 2018, and the second volume, "Abandoned Pittsburgh: Gears and Ghosts" will follow in May 2018. These books are a complete reformatting of the original material. Stay tuned for more info!
